Kauzi Foundation
In its 15 years of activity the team of Kauzi Foundation works for motivation, career and personal development of young people and young people with disabilities (15-29). The Foundation has organized 8 national Youth Entrepreneurial marketplaces, two international with participants from Serbia, one online with participants from Portugal, Greece and Serbia and two student entrepreneurship marketplaces (2022-2023) with students from Sofia municipality whit ecological focus. In this period over 800 young people benefited from information services, 400 received advice on entrepreneurship, education, career development, social integration and over 400 participated in trainings organized by the foundation.
In 2022 Kauzi Foundation implemented the project Professions That Will Save the World. The main goal of the project is to connect students, teachers, and professors of natural and exact sciences from schools in the capital with representatives from the academic institution - the Faculty of Economics at Sofia University - and practitioners. These experts will introduce them to the needs for the development of a green economy and the skills required for green professions. The project creates an opportunity for young people
In 2023 Kauzi Foundation implemented the project Connecting Schools With Green Economy. Idea Creators for a Better Climate through Carbon Literacy." The main goal of the project is to enhance knowledge and skills in environmental protection and sustainable consumption through carbon literacy for students, applying an innovative methodology for environmental education, and presenting it to teachers from schools in and outside Sofia. An additional effect will be to increase public awareness, including through the involvement of parents and stakeholders, regarding environmental education in educational institutions.
In 2024 Kauzi Foundation implemented the project STEM Student Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development (STUDentrepreneurs). The project lays the groundwork for creating opportunities to generate social and environmental business innovations linked to the education of natural and exact sciences in the context of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Project Contribution
Kauzi Foundation is a technical partner of Union of Breweries in Bulgaria for development of its educational and informational platform based on sustainability and circular economy. Our experts create the educational and popular science content. (the project is still in implementation) The organization has distinguished partnerships with local companies, authorities and schools to cooperate in projects spreading the benefits of the project's results among all local educational communities.
The team at Kauzi Foundation has extensive experience in developing training programs (for young people 15-29) on the topics of building 21st-century skills with focus financial literacy, digital literacy, leadership and civil engagement, carbon literacy, green profession, ecology and sustainability.
Kauzi Foundation is the creator and founder of CSR Advice Box – educational video series targeted SMEs in the field of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. One of the newest and best recognizable programs of the organization – b4b hub, is based on the principle of economy of solidarity and addresses responsible companies. The key experts of the organization are certified CSR consultants with special expertise in ISO 26000 Guidelines on social responsibility. The key members of the team are social auditors.
