Jovesólides - Jóvenes hacia la solidaridad y el desarrollo

Jovesolides is a non-profit youth organization founded in 1999 in Valencia, Spain. Its mission is to promote equal opportunities, active citizenship, and social inclusion by empowering young people and vulnerable groups. Originating from community work in the disadvantaged neighbourhood, the organization has grown into an actor operating locally, nationally, and internationally. Its work focuses on five key areas: e-inclusion, global citizenship education, social entrepreneurship, social innovation, and international cooperation. Through these fields, Jovesolides supports digital literacy, youth participation, creative problem-solving, and community development.

The mission of Jovesolides is to foster equal opportunities, active citizenship, and social transformation through innovation and participatory methodologies. The organization places young people and vulnerable groups at the centre of its work, supporting their personal, social, and professional development. Its vision aligns closely with the values of the European Union, including human rights, inclusion, diversity, and democratic participation.

Project Contribution

Jovesolides brings substantial added value to the project through its long-standing work with vulnerable youth and its deep understanding of the challenges faced by Roma communities. Its direct experience supporting the socio-educational development of Roma children and adolescents equips the organisation with practical knowledge on how to build trust, address cultural barriers, and design interventions that genuinely respond to community needs. This background ensures that the project’s mentoring, training and empowerment activities are relevant, inclusive and sensitive to the realities of Roma girls.

The organisation contributes strong methodological expertise in participatory research, mentoring design, digital empowerment, and innovative learning approaches. Its capacity to develop tailored educational resources and create user-centred tools enhances the quality and effectiveness of the project’s core outputs, including the needs analysis, the mentoring toolkit and the digital empowerment centre.

Jovesolides’ multidisciplinary team ensures high-quality implementation across all phases of the project. Their experience in organising community events and facilitating dialogue processes also strengthens stakeholder engagement and supports long-term sustainability.

By combining technical know-how, creative methodologies and direct work with Roma communities, Jovesolides ensures that the project delivers meaningful, scalable and culturally relevant solutions for the empowerment of Roma girls.
